Bianca Vlastuin’s Testimony

How different would your life be if you knew without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus had already provided your healing?

With only 10 percent vision in one eye and 15 percent in the other, Bianca Vlastuin was almost blind. She had been diagnosed with rod-cone dystrophy, a rare and incurable eye disease that often leads to blindness. At that time, Bianca and her family attended the same church in Hamar, Norway, as Robert and Elizabeth Muren, who are now the directors of AWM’s artistic productions.

Bianca was drawn to Elizabeth’s Christ-centered confidence and wanted to know what her secret was. Elizabeth told her about Andrew Wommack and how his teachings had changed her life. She encouraged Bianca to visit awmi.net and listen to Andrew’s teachings.

The first teaching Bianca and her husband, Gert, heard was Spirit, Soul & Body. “It was a big revelation. And it totally changed our minds and our lives,” she says. She and Gert listened to many of Andrew’s other teachings as well, including God Wants You Well and You’ve Already Got It. “We heard so many new things,” Gert adds. “We heard that God has already done everything [we need].”

Bianca then realized that she did not need to have rod-cone dystrophy. She posted scriptures throughout their house to help keep her mind on everything Jesus had already provided.

One day, Andrew’s revelation of healing fully became hers. “I was sitting and reading the Bible. Then I realized that what I have [in Jesus] is so amazing. And I started to praise God for it. I thanked Him for everything He’s done, that He didn’t need to do anything to heal me, and that He already did it at the cross.”

Bianca then started speaking to her eyes, as she’d learned from Andrew. She said, “Eyes, you were healed in the name of Jesus, so you must see now!” Her vision fluctuated. But she continued praising God for her healing and speaking to her eyes until she could see clearly. Thrilled with the realization that she would now  be able to see Gert, she drove to his office and shared the good news with him. They were both elated. The devil tried to steal her healing a couple of times after,  but she would shout, “No! . . . I am healed, so eyes, you must see in Jesus’ name.” Her vision is now perfect!

To help others learn the truth of the Gospel, Bianca and Gert started sharing Andrew’s teachings with their church on Tuesdays. They also shared Andrew’s teachings with a struggling young lady who was staying with them. She got born again within three weeks and enrolled at Charis Belfast shortly after. Additionally, while watching Andrew’s program, Bianca and Gert were inspired to start a ministry to help young women choose life instead of abortion.
