Many of us have experienced that exciting moment of tearing through wrapping paper on Christmas morning. How ironic it is, opening gifts on Jesus’ birthday when it’s not our birthday. Jesus Christ is the only reason for the Christmas season. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Out of love, God gave the most precious gift of all—His Son. So we who have received God’s love can now give love.

Friends and partners, through Andrew Wommack Ministries, you are supporting over fifty different ministries around the world that are feeding the homeless, loving their neighbors as themselves, and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One such ministry is Foundations for Nations, established by Jason and Sarah Lucas who began their ministry on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming. We’re honored we can send mission teams from Charis Bible College to help with the many things they’re involved in. Foundations for Nations reaches out to the hurting and broken in their community and shows the people on the reservation what God’s love really looks like by assisting community organizations, including their local food pantry and pregnancy center. They are truly being the hands and feet of Jesus.

In December 2021, Charis students helped with the Kids Club Christmas party where eighty-eight children attended in Christmas pajamas and made ornaments and gingerbread houses, worshipped the Lord, read the Christmas story, played games, and participated in other seasonal activities. And that was only the beginning of all they accomplished on that mission trip. Each year, Charis mission trips provide incredible experiences that lead students to finding, following, and fulfilling God’s call on their lives.
